About Alpine Trails Guiding
Alpine Trails Guiding is a family-owned seasonal harvest, tourism and events business based in Wanaka. Founded in 2018, we run 2 locations in Otago and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.
About the role
You will oversee a tourism or ski field business or a group of packhouses: capital planning, season-long budgets, senior staff, safety systems, partner relationships and the strategy for growth. You will represent the business with the local council, iwi and industry bodies.
What you will bring
Eight plus years in tourism, snow sports or horticulture leadership. Multi-site or large-team experience. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management. A visible leader who is comfortable on the mountain, in the packhouse or in the boardroom.

Required Qualifications
- Strong budgeting and rostering skills
- Working knowledge of RSE scheme and NZ employment obligations
- Comfortable reporting to owners or a board
- Five plus years in seasonal tourism, snow sports or horticulture operations
